Verdict
My testing of the free Basic mode revealed huge performance issues. GPTZero flagged all three humanized outputs at 100% AI detection, and ZeroGPT results ranged from 0% to 100% on nearly identical samples. In addition to not convincing AI detectors, the output of HumanizeAI.io is plagued by writing quality issues and the lack of adherence to the original number of words.
To be fair, I was only able to test the Basic mode with Standard settings. The premium Aggressive and Enhanced modes might perform better, and the additional readability styles (University, Doctorate, Journalist, etc.) could produce cleaner output. However, I wasn’t willing to risk my money because of the free tier’s poor performance. After all, there are other free AI humanizers that perform much better.
