Verdict
GPTinf’s marketing promises a 99% success rate, but my testing revealed a 0% success rate across all samples on both major detectors. The writing quality is decent compared to competitors that introduce grammar errors and nonsensical phrases, and the em dash removal is a nice touch that most humanizers overlook. But stripping one punctuation pattern while leaving the underlying text fully detectable isn’t enough.
At $4-$24/month, GPTinf is not the most expensive humanizer I have reviewed, but paying anything for a tool that achieves nothing against current detectors is hard to recommend. Especially when there are free alternatives that address both surface markers and the deeper structural patterns that GPTZero and ZeroGPT actually care about.
